Aprile's passion for public service is matched only by her determination to bring about people power and positive change, making her the ideal candidate for the Louisville Metro Council. Her vision for a vibrant, inclusive, and thriving district in all parts of Shawnee, Chickasaw, Portland and Russell resonates with the values and aspirations of the people she serves, positioning her as the leader Louisville needs now more than ever.

Kentucky Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression 

Aprile currently sits on the board for the Kentucky Alliance who's mission is to provide public debate around human and constitutional rights of all people.

Women Who Win 

Aprile is the proud founder of Women Who Win, a Women's empowerment group that offers trauma informed care and serves over two thousand women throughout Kentucky and surrounding areas. .

2016-Current 

Civil Rights Activist

Aprile has been an advocate speaking truth to power for almost ten years in matters of social injustices and political oppression. Aprile has been mentored by social justice giants such as Rhonda Mathis and political leaders such as Attica Scott and Charles Booker.
