Aprile is the proud founder of Women Who Win, a Women's empowerment group that offers trauma informed care and serves over two thousand women throughout Kentucky and surrounding areas. .

Aprile has been an advocate speaking truth to power for almost ten years in matters of social injustices and political oppression. Aprile has been mentored by social justice giants such as Rhonda Mathis and political leaders such as Attica Scott and Charles Booker.
